Palm Avenue and Virginia Street Full Intersection Closure to begin May 1, 2018

The City of El Segundo Public Works Department will be upgrading its sewer pump/lift stations beginning May 1, 2018. This project is part of an ongoing commitment to provide you with the best service and high-quality, safe, and reliable public utility.

The project includes improvements, such as manholes, pipes, and other related systems installations on pump station #7 located at the intersection of Palm Ave. and Virginia St. It will take approximately 3 months to complete the pump station systems upgrade at this location. Full and partial road intersection closures will take place at Palm Ave. and Virginia St. throughout the duration of the construction in order to safely complete the work. Traffic Control Devices will be in place at the construction site 24/7. The work will be performed by the contractor during normal working hours Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4pm. “No Parking” signs will be replaced in the work zone, in advance of the work being performed.

If you have any questions, please contact Arianne Bola at (310) 524-2364.
