The El Segundo Recreation, Parks, and Library Department offers high-quality parks and recreation facilities, the El Segundo Library, community service programs, recreation classes, events and activities. The Department is versatile in its service delivery by providing vital public transportation in addition to offering valuable programs and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

History Room Open to the Public

Want to find out more about El Segundo's history?  The Library's Abbie Jean Krimmel Mesak Memorial Heritage Room, or History Room, is open to the public the first Saturday of the month.  Stop in to browse the History Room collections, which include yearbooks, photos, mementos and more.

The room is also open by appointment, please call 310-364-0117 to schedule a visit.
