The El Segundo Recreation, Parks, and Library Department offers high-quality parks and recreation facilities, the El Segundo Library, community service programs, recreation classes, events and activities. The Department is versatile in its service delivery by providing vital public transportation in addition to offering valuable programs and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Festival of Holidays

Festival of HolidaysEl Segundo City Hall Plaza will be transformed into a cultural celebration during the Festival of Holidays on Friday, December 3rd from 4:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m. The festival is a family-friendly event and collaboration between the Arts and Culture Advisory and the DEI Committees, and is supported by the El Segundo Cultural Development Program. During the festival, community members will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of cultures through food, art, and performance.

  • 4:30 p.m.  Sitaare – El Segundo youth perform Indian dances
  • 5:00 p.m.  Bob Baker Marionette Theater – Stories of Hanukkah, Christmas and winter
  • 5:30 p.m. El Segundo High School Symphony Orchestra – Members perform Christmas and Jewish holiday music
  • 6:00 p.m.  Ina, The Sunshine Storyteller – Kwanzaa stories
