Tree Lighting Side A CompressedThe Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration sponsored by Mattel will take place on December 2nd from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the City Hall Plaza.

The 300 block on Main St. will be blocked off to allow you to enjoy a Holiday Craft Boutique, fun games, the lighting of the tree, and even a toy giveaway!

The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30pm.

Families will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus starting at 3:30pm.

El Segundo residents with a valid 2021 Youth Recreation I.D Card, have access to “fast pass” wrist bands available at the Clubhouse Building and Checkout Building in Recreation Park. The "fast pass" will allow you to take your photo with Santa quicker!  In addition to your Rec ID, please bring one non-perishable food item with you when picking up your “fast pass” to be donated in this year’s canned food drive. Please note “fast pass” wristbands are limited. If you have a fast pass wristband, you must be in the fast pass line prior to the tree lighting ceremony at 5:30pm.

In addition to the food drive, the Teen Advisory Committee will be hosting an animal shelter drive benefitting Karma Rescue. Keep an eye out for more additional information.
