The El Segundo Recreation, Parks, and Library Department offers high-quality parks and recreation facilities, the El Segundo Library, community service programs, recreation classes, events and activities. The Department is versatile in its service delivery by providing vital public transportation in addition to offering valuable programs and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Halloween Frolic

Halloween for Event ExampleTime to Pumpkin Spice things up! The City of El Segundo’s annual Halloween Frolic will be taking place on Saturday, October 29th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 300 and 400 block of Main Street in Downtown El Segundo. The event features unlimited bouncer, obstacle courses, and games for $10. Presale wristbands are available for purchase at the Clubhouse or the Joslyn Center from October 12th through October 30th for $8! Wristbands will be $10 day of event.

 

The Kiwanis Club will be helping judge this year’s Costume Contest which will take place at the City Hall Plaza at 12:30 p.m. Categories are Under 2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-13 years, 14-17 years, 18 years+, and Group Costume. The El Segundo Women’s Club will also be hosting the annual Pumpkin Contest. Decorate your pumpkin any way you’d like and enter the contest at the El Segundo Women’s Club booth near City Hall by 12:50 p.m. Categories for the Pumpkin Contest are Most Original, Scariest, Funniest, and Best Overall.
