The El Segundo Recreation, Parks, and Library Department offers high-quality parks and recreation facilities, the El Segundo Library, community service programs, recreation classes, events and activities. The Department is versatile in its service delivery by providing vital public transportation in addition to offering valuable programs and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Nature Immersion Day of Play for Families

Visual-Artists-In-Community recipient Lindsay Carron will lead a nature immersion workshop in Recreation Park for families in forest school fashion. The event will focus on free play and exploration of nature through activities, games, and song. Connecting the participants to the land, animals, and plants boosts well-being, imagination, and creativity. The event is open to all families in El Segundo or from neighboring cities.
