The El Segundo Recreation, Parks, and Library Department offers high-quality parks and recreation facilities, the El Segundo Library, community service programs, recreation classes, events and activities. The Department is versatile in its service delivery by providing vital public transportation in addition to offering valuable programs and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

E-Bike Safety Course

*** Update: As of August 19, 2024, we have reached capacity for our August 24th class *** The El Segundo Police Department is pleased to welcome E-Bike Sense to El Segundo once again! Their certified league cycling instructor will give a short presentation on e-bike safety, followed by a skills course. The instructor will provide information on how to safely ride an e-bike, related laws, and recommended equipment. All you need to bring is your e-bike and a helmet! 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be an El Segundo resident or student of El Segundo Unified School District, Da Vinci Schools or Vistamar High School
  • Must be 12 years or older
  • Must currently own an e-bike
  • All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18 years old

Class size is limited! To register, fill out the E-Bike Safety Course Form or go to elsegundopd.org/ebikesafetycourse.
