The El Segundo Recreation, Parks, and Library Department offers high-quality parks and recreation facilities, the El Segundo Library, community service programs, recreation classes, events and activities. The Department is versatile in its service delivery by providing vital public transportation in addition to offering valuable programs and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

United Against Hate Week Poster Design Contest

Calling all artists! El Segundo residents are invited to participate in a community poster design contest in honor of United Against Hate Week! This contest is sponsored by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and is open to El Segundo residents of all ages. Showcase your creativity and spread a message of unity!

Create a 11"x17" poster (300 dots per inch in either JPG, PNG, or PDF) including "El Segundo Stands United Against Hate" and the year "2024". The submissions will be judged in three categories: Youth (Under 18), Adult, and Family. Winners will be awarded recognition by City Council, a prize basket, and distribution of the poster around the city.

Submissions are due by September 12th — email questions and submissions to elsegundounitedagainsthateweek@gmail.com.
