The Professional Standards section’s Goals and Objectives are as follows:
Conduct administration investigations as needed.
Conduct internal audits and inspections as needed.
Maintain Annual compliance with POST and STC training mandates despite state training budget reductions.
Audit and update equipment replacement schedule to meet departmental needs.
Continue to evaluate and de-brief critical incidents from throughout the profession and provide related in-service training to all affected personnel.
The Record section’s Goals and Objectives are as follows:
Continue to direct the day-to-day operations of the Records Bureau providing an accuracy and efficient disposition and dissemination of sealed juvenile criminal records to the state and the judicial process.
After completion of the Customer Service training among the Records personnel, strive to provide services consistent with the vision, mission and values of our community based policing organization that emphasize the quality of service delivered to the community.
Improvement to provide the weekly Arrest Activity Report via email to the public.
Provide an on-going California Public Records Act training for Records personnel.
The Personnel section Goals and Objectives are as follows:
To continue recruitment, testing, and processing Entry Police Officers, Lateral Officers, Cadets, Police Assistants and ISS candidates. Only the most qualified candidates will be hired in a timely manner.
Continue to keep the department in POST compliance by providing POST approved training for department personnel.
Continue to keep the department in State and Training for Corrections (STC) compliance by providing STC approved classes within the year for our Police Service Officers.
The Administrative section’s Goals and Objectives are as follows:
Renovate basement level, including briefing room and locker rooms.
