The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has created an Information about H1N1 webpage to provide current H1N1 (Swine Flu) influenza information and vaccine clinic schedules. Presently, the public H1N1 vaccination clinics are for people in the established Priority Groups who have no other usual source of care. If you are not in an H1N1 Priority Group, the County Department of Public Health asks that residents please wait to get vaccinated at public vaccine clinics until vaccine supplies increase. The County reports more H1N1 vaccine will be available shortly at some chain pharmacies, private health care providers, and community clinics. Attached are several documents providing helpful information concerning the H1N1 Vaccine, Frequently Asked Questions about H1N1 Flu; and Priority Groups for H1N1 Vaccine. Residents are encouraged to visit either the County Public Health Department or Center for Disease Control websites for additional and up-to-date information.
