How Can Members of the Public Observe and Provide Public Comments?

  • Watch the meeting via Spectrum Channel 3, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 and/or El Segundo TV at YouTube.com;
  • Access remotely via Zoom from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, or Android device or by phone. Use URL https://zoom.us/j/87469196259 and enter PIN: 541067 or visit www.zoom.us on device of choice, click on "Join a Meeting" and enter meeting ID and PIN;
  • Join by phone at 1-699-900-9128 and enter Meeting ID and PIN;
  • Your phone number is captured by the Zoom software and is subject to the Public Records Act. Dial *67 BEFORE dialing in to remain anonymous;
  • For Public Communications, members of the public may provide comments in the Council Chamber or via Zoom. For in-person comments, please fill out a Speaker Card located in the Chamber Lobby and for Zoom comments, notify meeting host by raising your virtual hand and you will be invited to speak;
  • If you do not wish for your name to appear on the screen, then use the drop-down menu and click on "rename" to rename yourself as "anonymous". Please note that you will be placed in a "Listen Only" mode and your video feed will not be shared with City Council or members of the public;
  • Do not simultaneously use a microphone through Zoom and a cellphone/telephone, this combination results in audio problems;
  • For written communication, submit to ALLELECTEDOFFICIALS@elsegundo.org by 12:00 PM to be uploaded to the Website. Emails received after 12:00 PM will be posted the next day;
  • For Public Hearing, members of the public may provide comments in the Lobby and/or Council Chamber or via Zoom;
  • Speaker Cards and attendee's information captured by Zoom software will be considered public documents subject to possible posting on the City's Website and are subject to disclosure under the Public Records Act.
