Special Topgolf Driving Range Availability,
Hours and Rates 

Between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily, Topgolf must make driving bays available for youth sports and provide a 10% discount on driving range charges for residents of the City of El Segundo and youth sports users.

Topgolf will provide for access through the first floor of the building and provide for restroom facilities on the first floor so that individuals under age 18 may choose not to access the second and third floor.

Hours of Operation

Topgolf is required to allow all members of the public to utilize driving bays on the first level of the facility at the following times and rates:

• Monday through Friday (Non-Holidays) from 6:00 a.m. to noon @ $10 per bucket or 45 balls.
• Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. @ $10 per bucket or 45 balls.

Access for School Sponsored Golf Groups

• Topgolf is required to provide selected school-sponsored golf teams and charities supporting youth mentorship access to the Topgolf venue for free game play during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (non holidays), under the youth program of the operator of The Lakes at El Segundo Golf Course (for example, Topgolf’s Youth Play It Forward initiative.)

• Topgolf is required to provide access to its venue for free team practices at various parts of the week to the El Segundo Unified School District, Mira Costa High School, and Vista Mar High School golf teams, and to the American Martyrs elementary school golf program. To the extent the Topgolf facility has ball-tracking technology, such will be made available to the above school teams for use.

• Both The Lakes Golf Course operator and Topgolf are obligated to reach out to First Tee, SCGA, SCPGA and others who use the Lakes for junior programs, tournaments and leagues to maintain them as a preferred location.

Access for Golfers

Topgolf is required to provide a “warm-up” solution for golfers with tee times at the course. This will be done thoughtfully to ensure efficiency and accessibility between the golf course operations and Topgolf. Topgolf is required to charge a rate that is consistent with rates charged at other driving ranges owned by public agencies in the region.

The Lakes at El Segundo Resident Fee Schedule

• The resident rate schedule does not include night golf.
• Junior rates apply before 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, exclusive of legal holidays.
• El Segundo residents must possess a current El Segundo Recreation and Parks Identification card to qualify for the resident rates.
• El Segundo residents can make reservations up to 15 days in advance. All persons in the playing group need not have a current El Segundo Recreation and Parks ID card, but the person making the reservation must be a member of the group and present the ID card when making the reservation in person and when paying for the green fees.

The resident rates can increase once per year on April 1st by the greater of:

1. A percentage that equals the percentage increase of the CPI (as defined below) for the twelve-month period preceding December 31st immediately preceding the scheduled increase, or
2. 2% more than the fee listed on the Resident Fee Schedule on the immediately preceding April 1st.
