The City of El Segundo is committed to open and transparent government. In accordance with the California Public Records Act (the PRA) we recognize that every American has a right to access public government records.

El Segundo uses a digital archiving system known as Laserfiche to provide easy access to various public records. The City Clerk’s Office maintains the Laserfiche System to manage content and make it available to the public. These records may include agendas, minutes, resolutions, ordinances, agreements, building permit records, and various kinds of staff reports. Users can browse, search, retrieve, and print documents.

To request a Public Record, please complete the Public Records Act Request Form.

• Not all records are public
• Anyone can see or receive a copy of a public record, except for records that are exempt from disclosure by law
• Gov. Code Sections 7920.000 et. seq. define the PRA law
