The Public Works Department's Engineering Division oversees public and private improvements in the public right-of-way by:

• Developing the Capital Improvement Program to maintain and upgrade City infrastructure
• Providing Encroachment Permits for working on public property
• Providing infrastructure information, studies and facility management reports
• Developing a stormwater program to comply with Federal and State requirements

Engineering also provides technical support to other City Departments and Divisions, several City groups and committees and other governmental agencies.
